Shane David Hall represents The Fine Art Group as Director of the firm’s High-Profile Client Division, serving as the primary point of contact for celebrity entertainers, musicians, professional athletes, and their advisory teams—including business managers, wealth managers, attorneys, accountants, and family offices.
With over a decade of deep art market expertise and more than 10 years of appraisal and advisory experience, Shane specializes in managing investment-quality collectible assets for Ultra High Net-worth individuals and families. He holds dual Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Historic Preservation and Art History from the College of Charleston (Charleston, SC) and a Master of Arts in American Fine and Decorative Arts from Sotheby’s Institute of Art (New York, NY).
Shane began his career as a Curatorial Assistant at the Historic Charleston Foundation and interned with the prestigious Winter Show before going on to work with three international auction houses. His comprehensive understanding of the global art market has made him a nationally sought-after speaker. He has lectured at the American Bar Association, the Trusted Advisor Summit (the premier leadership organization for celebrity client advisors), the North Carolina Conference for Certified Financial Advisors, Campbell University’s annual Trust Advisors Forum, WITH Intelligence Wealth Forum, and numerous collector groups across the country.
Shane has appraised and advised on significant collections held by Fortune 500 corporations, major museums, and prominent private collectors worldwide.
Shane Is a member of the Motion Picture & Television Fund and currently serves on the National Advisory Committee for Trusted Advisor. He Is also a Board Member of the Gibbes Museum of Art's Society 1858, where he Co-Chairs the Society 1858 Prize for Contemporary Southern Art and serves on the museum's Distinguished Lecture Committee. Shane resides in Charleston, South Carolina with his husband, Nic, and their Cocker Spaniel, Birdie.
